Our Story
Dundee Bathrooms started with a simple frustration: too many local bathroom companies were treating customers like ticket numbers, quoting low to win the job and adding extras at the end, subcontracting to whichever tradesman was cheapest that week, and leaving bathrooms that looked great in the photos but started to fail in two years. We thought Dundee deserved better — so we built a company around the opposite of all that.
15+ years later, we're still a small, owner-managed Dundee family business. The same person who quotes your job is on site managing the installation. Every trade — plumbers, electricians, tilers, joiners, plasterers — is directly employed by us. Quotes are written, itemised and fixed price. Workmanship is warrantied. And most of our work still comes from word-of-mouth, which is the proof we set out to do this right.
We're proud to have installed bathrooms in every kind of Dundee home — Victorian villas in the West End, Edwardian terraces in Broughty Ferry, tenement flats around Perth Road and the Hilltown, 1930s semis in Downfield and Barnhill, modern Waterfront apartments, and substantial homes across Newport-on-Tay, Wormit and Monifieth. Subcontracting is where bathroom projects go wrong — delays, finger-pointing, inconsistent quality. We employ every trade directly so one team is fully accountable from strip-out to handover.
Honest, Fixed Pricing
Every quote is written and itemised. The price you agree before work starts is the price you pay at handover. If we hit a genuine unknown mid-project, we tell you before doing anything.
Craftsmanship Over Speed
A bathroom that takes one extra day to finish properly will look beautiful for a decade. A bathroom rushed to save a day starts to fail in a year. We never trade finish for speed.
Your Home, Treated Properly
Dust sheets on every floor, vacuum at end of day, shoes off when needed, neighbours respected, skip emptied before it overflows. The same standard we'd want in our own homes.
Our Team
Our team is small by design. A larger team means more management layers and less consistency. We deliberately stay small enough that the owners are still on site, still meeting clients, still managing every project personally. Every tradesperson is time-served, certified in their discipline, and personally chosen for both their skills and their attitude. Bad attitudes don't work in clients' homes — and we don't tolerate them.
